Refunds & Returns Policy – Tasmanian Safety Supplies (Online Orders)

Shopping online with Tasmanian Safety Supplies is easy and secure. If something isn’t right with your order, we’ll work with you to fix it quickly.


Change of Mind Returns

  • Change of mind returns accepted within 30 days of delivery
  • Items must be:
    • Unused and in original condition
    • In original packaging with all tags/labels attached
    • Accompanied by your online order number
  • For change of mind, return shipping is at the customer’s expense
  • Approved returns may be refunded to your original payment method or as store credit

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as ordered:

  1. Email us at tassafety@iinet.net.au within a reasonable time
  2. Include:
    • Your name and order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Clear photos of the product and packaging where possible

Once assessed, and in line with Australian Consumer Law, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund, and cover reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.


Items We Can’t Accept for Change of Mind

For safety and hygiene reasons, we generally cannot accept returns for:

  • Respiratory products (e.g. disposable respirators, half masks, filters)
  • Ear plugs and certain hearing protection
  • Undergarments or items worn next to the skin
  • Custom-made, custom-printed or specially ordered items

Unless they are faulty or not as described under Australian Consumer Law.


How to Lodge a Return (Online Orders)

  1. Contact us at tassafety@iinet.net.au 
  2. Wait for our returns instructions and (if approved) return address details
  3. Pack your item securely and include your order number inside the parcel

Refund Processing Times

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you with the outcome
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method (bank/PayPal timeframes may vary)

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not a major failure
